As with most robovacs the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it started. This involves setting up an account on the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once you've done this, the robot will begin to vacuum and mop with ease.
It's important to note that the mapping process takes a while and may take a few tries before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate view of your space. The object detection feature is hit-and-miss. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles, however, it got stuck on a looser rug with tassels and had to flip over to get it out of the way. But these are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube is still a great option for those looking for an all-in-one cleaning companion.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete provides a three-in-one cleaning solution. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that can block things like dog bowls and toys (but not Poop), unlike many vacuums.
Other amazing features include a self-emptying dustbin, a mop that is self-washing, adjustable for water temperature, and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also adjust the settings for each room, and set up cleaning schedules.
It features the same multi-room smart mapping feature as the S8 and is able to distinguish between carpets and laminate with high-pile carpets. And, if you're looking to cut down on time, it will avoid mopping rooms that aren't soiled. It's a great choice when you have a mix of flooring in your home and do not want to invest the money to buy the Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is an excellent choice if you are looking for a versatile robot that can handle regular maintenance on a daily basis and touch-ups for messy water stains. It has a range of features, including a self emptying dustbin and a separate dock for refilling water, as well as adjustable settings through the app. It's extremely quiet and easily moves around furniture legs or socks. It's unable to pick up knots in the rug and its battery drains more quickly than other models we tried.
With a price tag of less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and a handy automation into a sleek. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests of vacuuming, but overall it did well. It also includes a wide variety of cleaning modes to meet your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' option for debris that is light to the more powerful 'Turbo' mode for rooms with carpet. It can even be programmed to remove and reconnect its mop pads without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used in smaller spaces. It is very fast and quiet and it is able to navigate tight spaces efficiently. It is also very good at removing pet hair off carpets.
It's smaller than the majority of its competition, but it doesn't sacrifice features. It has decent suction power and can be set to take photos of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as 'not located', so that they are not removed in future cleanings. The photos are encrypted and aren't tied to your account.
It does a fantastic job of vaccuming but isn't as effective at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that clip onto the bottom of the bot and drags them across the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
